Hi!


I'm Victoria. I love photography and I've been doing it since I was in 11th grade. I was always interested in art but have the worst artistic hand ever.

                   This is the extent of my artistic ability by hand -->  




When I was in the 9th grade, I popped into the photography teacher at my school's classroom, Mr. Baldwin and I was just amazed by what I saw. It wasn't like any other classroom I had ever seen. No, this classroom had character. There were black and white photographs of past classes hanging everywhere. I had to take this class. I just had to!

Finally, two years pass by, I get my first camera (Pentax K1000), and I finally got to apply to be in Mr. Baldwin's Photo I class. Inarguably the best class I have ever taken...bar none. He taught us to see the world in a different way... though the lens of a camera. He treated us like adults, taught us how to use the equipment, roll film, dodge and burn, and develop our very own film. He changed the way I saw the world, it was all frames after then. 

 
                         For that, I will forever be thankful. 





I am currently a photographer as a hobbyest. It would be awesome to get paid for it one day, but I have much to learn. In college, I put my camera down for a few years because I had terrible assignments when I was on my college newspaper. I mean, how many times can you shoot a town council meeting and "find the art"...ick! 



I've really enjoyed shooting for the past 2 years since obtaining my very first fancy DSLR. I shoot a Nikon D60 and just recently bought my very first strobe. It's been a process learning how to use them, but I'm learning slowly but surely! 




Atlanta is where I call my home and my "day jobs" include the following: 2nd grade teacher, J Crew Sales Associate, and Tutor. When I'm not doing any of my aforementioned jobs, you can find me: trying new restaurants, dressing up in some sort of a costume (hence my picture to the left), throwing a themed party of some sort, or talking about some tv show I just watched.
